Devin leads removal and deindexing casework, and reviews every client assessment before it is sent. Their focus is the unglamorous part of the job: complete evidence packages, correctly routed filings, and the monitoring that keeps a removal from quietly reversing.

Areas of work

• Privacy-based removal requests, including exposed contact data and data broker listings.
• Search engine deindexing across Google and Bing, and the differences in how each assesses a request.
• DMCA notice preparation and the completeness requirements that decide whether a notice is processed or returned.
• Post-removal monitoring: mirrors, scraper copies, archive snapshots and deliberate re-uploads.
• Triage — deciding which URLs in a case have no viable path, which is the assessment clients value most and like least.

Editorial responsibilities

Every article published on this site is either written or reviewed by a named person before publication, and Devin holds that responsibility for removal and deindexing topics. In practice that means three checks:

1. Every timeline and success figure is labelled as measured, illustrative, or sourced — never left ambiguous.
2. Every method described carries its limit in the same section, not in a disclaimer at the bottom.
3. Anything that changed since publication is either updated substantively or the article is retired. Dates are not refreshed without a real change.
